Commercial/Residential Landscape Design and Installation

A great landscape starts with a great design and a thorough inspection and inventory of the existing jobsite. Haller's Landscaping & Lawncare listens to our customers needs and issues, and incorporates them into a distinctive design that will transform your home or business into an eye pleasing, sustainable landscape for many years using irrigation, lighting, water features and hardscape elements.

What to expect

Step One: After calling Haller's Landscaping & Lawncare, a design professional will schedule an appointment with you at your home or business, either during the day or evening, whichever is easier for you. At that time, all your lawn and landscape needs will be thoroughly discussed so as to understand the scope of your project, taking into account your budget considerations. To facilitate this initial meeting, please have any picture examples or sketches available to visually explain your vision. Additionally, a list of favorite colors, smells, textures and known plants will help to give us guidance during the design process. If possible to obtain, a property plat, showing boundary lines and house dimensions, will be asked for; copies can be found at your local county Assessor of Property’s office.

Step Two: A landscape plan will be developed based on the initial meeting and other possible conversations using our creative talents and your ideas. The time needed to complete your design will be based on the size of your project. Naturally, large design requests that will be incorporating new structures that require detailed construction drawings, retaining walls, fountains or other hardscape elements may take two to four weeks, and will require a refundable deposit towards the whole job. Smaller jobs may take one to two weeks to complete.

Step Three: Once a plan has been completed, the design professional will contact you again to schedule an appointment to present the plan. If your time allows, we may ask you to go to a local Tennessee certified arboretum or garden center in your area to visually show the shape and form of all proposed plants. After refinements to the plan are incorporated, if needed, and approved, a contract will be prepared explaining all payment schedules and contractor responsibilities. A tentative schedule will be given and a project supervisor will be assigned to you after that.

Step Four: Everybody wants a maintenance free home since our time is very precious to us. However, your landscape will require some investment of time to protect your investment. After completion of your project, a maintenance plan will be prepared for you where our experienced staff can offer year round care. By contracting the maintenance of your project with Haller's Landscaping & Lawncare, we can guarantee a professional appearance for years to come.
